Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 1, 2025

1. About This Site

uskidsgolfstatus.com (“the Site”) is an independent lookup tool that helps families search publicly available U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status award data. The Site is not affiliated with U.S. Kids Golf.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the Site:

  • Usage data — pages visited, search queries entered, and general interaction data collected automatically via Vercel Analytics. This is anonymized and does not identify individual users.
  • Location data — approximate city, state, and postal code inferred from your IP address by Vercel’s infrastructure. This is used solely to show a relevant local golf coach advertisement. We do not store this data.
  • Coach advertiser information — if you sign up to advertise as a coach, we collect your name, email, city, and state. This data is stored in our database and used only to manage your advertisement.

3. Cookies

We use a theme preference cookie to remember your light/dark mode choice. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics uses privacy-preserving, cookie-free analytics.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with service providers that help operate the Site (Vercel for hosting and analytics, Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for database storage) solely to provide those services.

5. Player Data

Player names and status information displayed on the Site are sourced from publicly available Priority Status Awards PDFs published by U.S. Kids Golf. If you believe information about you should be removed, please contact us and we will address your request promptly.

6. Data Retention

Coach advertiser data is retained for as long as an active advertisement exists. Upon cancellation, data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data is retained per Vercel’s standard retention policy.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site displays publicly available data about junior golfers but is intended to be used by parents and guardians, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
